Am down to the last disc of Angel S3. I've been enjoying the series, as has Bemo, although at some point I'm going to have to gird my loins and face Buffy's last two seasons. I've been a little hesitant about watching them, but I figure I'll get to them as soon as we're done with Angel, unles Bemo wants to have a break and switch over. No fic idea has clobbered me over the head, but I'm going to go look for some nice fic to read because I have the urge.

Today was the first day of a vacation from work-work but not from work. That is, I won't be at the museum, but I will be at the Library of Congress or at home, trying my best to hammer the last few kinks out of this thrice-damned paper. Now that I know what my advisor wants (thanks for letting me in on the secret!), I can at least see if I'm structuring the thing correctly.

Anyway, Cherbear is back from Shanghai, and I have a chicken dinner to construct for her. I'm hoping an idea I have in mind works out. Cross your fingers for me - I'm in an experimental mode.
