Phoned my sister, who works in Reston, VA - she's standing in a parking lot after her building was evacuated. From what I'm hearing, no apparent property damage or big issues, thank goodness. It's crazy how far away the quake was felt.

Washingtonpost.com is down, boo. I guess everybody hit them up for info and crashed them.

Glad she's okay. Felt it here in Philly, which was odd, & reports out of NYC, too. Wow!

Only thing we have noticed is that none of our co-workers with ATTWireless service can make or receive phone calls (text & data is not impacted). As it started right after the quake, we assume it's connected.
