It's better than the giant blue housecoat my mother-in-law got me for Christmas a couple of years back. It's warm and comfy but...not precisely flattering or elegant. Bemo took a look at it and said, "I thought she wanted grandchildren!"

I love warm and comfortable and yet gorgeous evening clothes. I have a sneaking desire for a C18 (?) quilted smoking gown as seen modelled by Count Almaviva in period productions of Le Nozze di Figaro.

Oh, quilted wrappers are so lovely. I remember one from about the same time period that my former museum owned...green silk, elegant but so squishy and comfortable looking as well.
