Question on Etsy

If any of you have the time, please head over to my Etsy shop and let me know what you think about the 19th century envelopes. Would you buy them at that price? Are they genuinely cool and should I put up more of them? (I have more. Lots more.)

Heh, I attended a workshop about...geez, eight or ten years ago, on museum collections and fire damage. Museums were invited to bring objects that would be put in the little room that was set on fire, and we'd then be able to see how they fared. A museum brought a ton of these envelopes that weren't part of their collection, and put them in acid free boxes and set them in the room to be set ablaze. They weathered the fire quite nicely, and we were allowed to take as many as we wanted to, since they had no expectations of bringing them back!

I'm having trouble conceptually with a museum burning anything of potential historical import. I get a bit faint... Of course, people wrote a lot more letters then.

I vaguely remember one of them saying that they still had thousands of these empty envelopes, so I expect they aren't considered of much historical import.
