The combination of the cover and the story names is mindboggling. Is that white piracy? Breadwinning? Do I really want to know? And what the hell are the apples floating in, anyway? That doesn't really look like water.
I've never actually seen anyone bob for apples with tied hands, although I know it was sometimes done. The only times I've seen anyone do it, they just held on to the edge of the tub and ducked.
Hee, I can grab the magazine and skim the story to see what it's about. I do have a few magazines with fantastic White Slavers stories in them, but I don't think this is one of them. In fact, I used to have a book that was all about how ice cream parlors were secret dens of iniquity where white slavers lurked in search of young girls to abduct.
