Have been watching season 2 of True Blood, occasionally employing the fast forward button. Just finished the OMG Godric episode, some murmurings of which had come my way even with me mostly avoiding spoilers, because apparently it blew everybody's mind just like it did mine. Well done, show, even if I'm only sort of half-heartedly interested in you.
Read Lolita, finally, and was fascinated by it. Such a beautifully crafted novel, except for a small bit towards the end where things got a trifle flowery and the plot got a little obscured. Will have to read more Nabokov.
About halfway through Midnight Never Come, by Marie Brennan. Loving it to pieces so far. The books have been recommended by a bunch of people, and I pass that recommendation on - seriously good stuff.
And, Mad Men tonight. "She was born in a barn in 1898. She died on the 37th floor of a skyscraper. She was an astronaut." Way to punch me in the gut, show.
Oh, and this weekend our play reading group met and read The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams. And I hated every single person in it.
