Dateline: DC

Have been having fun frolicking in DC. Went into town with Cher on Saturday, saw friends of Bemo on Saturday afternoon, hung out with Persia on Saturday night, had so much fun at Chessica's wedding on Sunday. We'll see friends of Bemo tonight, tomorrow Boop and I will head back into DC and go visit my former coworkers, and Boop's boyfriend is cooking us dinner that evening. It's been a downright whirl of gaiety.

I really do miss big parts of this place - everything from the general landscape to DC itself, to friends I have here. However, being stuck on 66, as happened on Saturday, reminds us that there are quite a few things we've escaped from!
