My clever plan is foiled

sienamysticSo my plan to call up the cable company and drop our digital cable to basic cable and thusly save a few bucks has been foiled. Because apparently the super-special plan we're on means that our bill would go up if I dropped back down to basic. By about thirty bucks.
Boggle. Oh, well. I guess that means we keep the DVR. The silly lady at the cable company was going to suggest that we drop or reduce somehow our internet connection if we were really desperate about a lower bill. HA HA HA LIKE I WOULD EVER DO THAT CRAZY LADY. If it comes down to it, we'd probably kill off the tv entirely and try and watch everything on Hulu or something.
