sienamysticOne afternoon and evening with my cousin from the Philippines, and I spent the next day sounding like she does. It's funny how long-buried accents can pop to the surface like that.
She brought lots of gossip with her, about my aunt who is about to have her tenth baby(there are rumors she's carrying twins, although nobody seems to know for sure), my dumbass cousin who is a high-level male model throughout Asia, and some cousins who started out life as quite bratty but now seem to be settling down into nice people. I got back on Friendster and friended a bunch of them on her orders, although I log into Friendster approximately one a millenium, so it's sort of a weird, useless website for me.
Family can be fun, even if you haven't seen them for eight years.
