Today I answered a question about chalymidia correctly and got a blue condom as my prize. And then petted a puppy in a vest and got two free t-shirts and two plastic cups and some fun-size chocolate and a chicken finger in a cup.

And then I went with co-workers to a bar with a pretentious "Z" in its name, and drank a Betsy Goes To Bangcock, which involved pear vodka and ginger (not enough ginger) and then I had some absinthe. I also ate some arancini, and was disappointed in them, but the fried potatoes and the dolmas were pretty good.

And then a co-worker put mittens on her feet.

Then we all went home.

It was a good day.

Heh. We went early, so thankfully got a friendly waitress and no hordes of hipsters.

I'll have to ask about Rogues Gallery - I haven't seen or heard of it, but it may still be here. And the hole in the wall by the Cookie Company is still there, but I haven't been in. We're supposedly going to do an after-hours bar meetup once a month, so perhaps we'll get there. Or to the Tam O'Shanter for karaoke.

What on this green earth are pickle cards?

Rogues Gallery was on 10th St, I think--P. would know for sure.

Pickle cards are these bizarre lottery scratch off things you can buy in some of the bars in Lincoln--I know the hole in the wall place has them. A quick Google shows that they're regulated by the lottery people but that they're sold on behalf on non-profit & charitable groups. They're bizarre.
