Our cable and internet is working, although the cable service is still switched over to the higher tiers instead of our "dregs of the channels" tier. Our internet is also up and running, which makes me very happy. I have to say, though, that except for a handful of shows, most of what's on tv...is really crap. Was I really missing random Food Network shows about bbq? I mean, I have the shows I love, and I'm obviously committed enough to them to go to the frickin' laundromat to watch them, but man, maybe having to work for it is better than having the ability to sit on the sofa and completely zone out while watching crap, just because the crap is what's in front of me.
Definitely down to the odds and ends stage of the move - we still have things like a few big bins of clothes, a random bookshelf, a pile of yearbooks and a vase that somehow didn't get boxed, the under-sink stuff from the kitchen and the bathroom, plus cleaning and taking out trash. It's sure to be more work than it looks - it always is - but I think we'll be done on schedule.
