in a state
Jun. 24th, 2010 09:02 pmTired, headachey (think I can blame it on my allergies going nutty) and ended up bowing out of attending Two Gentlemen of Verona tonight. I'm going to go to bed in a few minutes, I think.
I'm bummed about having to turn in our DVR. I'm so attached to the lil' fella.
Have just finished two books, Melusine by Sarah Monette and When The King Comes Home by Caroline Stevermer. I had a lot of trouble with the unending bleak craziness of much of Melusine, although I think overall I enjoyed the book - I'm not sure, though, if I want to keep reading the rest of the series. When The King Comes Home was just loveliness, with a main character I adored in all her stubborn, curious, talkative glory. I have to be in the right mood for Stevermer's work, and this one just hit me in the right place at the right time.
Going to shower and get some sleep. I've been dragging around all week.
