Adventures in the night
Nov. 2nd, 2009 04:50 pmAnd not the good kind, either. New cat continues to settle in well, but last night knocked a glass off the countertop and smashed it to bits (at about two am) while boosting himself up to sit in the window. While the two girlcats are a little more ballerina, this boy is clearly more rugby player.
I had to go sweep up the glass before anybody got cut up. And am wondering if having a new Mr. Curious roaming the house will force us to clean up more, and perhaps keep the countertops clean.
Seriously, that's not very likely.
Hoping to go tonight to a lecture by one of the History Detectives, who in real life is a professor of architecture at Columbia University. The topic is Frank Lloyd Wright: Progressive Suburbias.
