There's nothing like sitting around brooding over how every life choice you ever made was clearly wrong, and has brought you to a sad pass. Honestly, I need a keeper. I am not equipped to deal with life on its own terms.

No, no, no! Don't do that!

Go out for a walk in what little sunshine there is at the next noontime when you can get out. Have a cup of hot cocoa and sit next to Bemo; lean your head against his shoulder.

Gosh, who doesn't feel that way sometimes? But it's not good to brood. Tell that ugly little voice to take a hike. It is lying to you.

Complete change of subject:
I would very selfishly like to request, if you have time, for you to give us art-starved people on your flist a mini-course on something cool? It's been a little while...I keep hoping you might find time again.

We went out for coffee, and that was good, and then we went to Circut City to return something and wandered around a little bit trying to think of something to buy with the money and could't find anything. And that made me cranky, but it was in a predictable way, so I'm not angsting about it all. Er, so in not-so-short, I feel better now.

Aww, I'd love to do another mini-art thing. Any topics you'd like to see?

Awwww. We all have those moments, really.

[livejournal.com profile] nigita is right: that ugly little voice is a filthy liar and you should ignore it.

I am ignoring it with chips and dip and a hot shower in a little while. This is a good plan.

I don't know about a keeper, but I'm willing to bet you would benefit from a snack and/or a nap.

::patpat:: Take care.

I have just had a snack, and will go take a hot shower soon. I guess if your brain is whining like a kindergartener, treating it like one actually works! Getting home helped.

Maybe I need a blankey.

They knew what they were doing in Kindergartner.

Yes, the Voice is a filthy liar, one you've proven wrong time and time again. (Remember the "You're an imposter who will never finish her Masters?" voice)

What does your insurance cover? This isn't elective surgery.

Am off to Becca and Peter's now (we're in a little suite about a block away from them) but will call to see if you're OK. Miss you and am thinking about you.
