+ I got Sonic for lunch
- I ate too many onion rings and now I'm bloated
+ A board member has brought us chocolate
- I have to deal with paperwork that's going to take a while, yet has to be done by the end of the year. Except I'm out tomorrow and we're only in next Monday and Tuesday so there's not much time to get everything done. And I have to talk with the guy's lawyer and explain differences in protocol and I'm sure that'll be a pain.
+ On the other hand, work on Monday will really be more like "work," because we're having a potluck and a white elephant and then watching White Christmas in our auditorium.
- I still have to find a suitable white elephant.
+ I have found a good gift for my bitchy step-mother-in-law.
- I think I need one more gift, for my mom-in-law. We sent her a giant box of cheese and sausage from the Dairy store, but I think she needs something else.
+ I bought more making magnet materials from Etsy.
- I have now learned the addictive qualities of Etsy.
+ It's not snowing now.
- But we're due for an ice storm at about 4pm.
+ I'm off work tomorrow!
- To go see the spine doctor.
+ But I'll also be able to go pick up the big box waiting at UPS.
- Unless I feel guilty and come back into work because of the whole paperwork tangle.
