Rain coming down

sienamysticWoke up muzzily at midnight, wondering if it was a particularly heavy roll of thunder that I was hearing. Nope - it was instead the steady rumble of utility trucks as they sawed a giant, lightning-struck tree off the power lines just catty-corner from our apartment.
And then when I finally did fall back asleep, I apparently snored like a drunken moose, causing Bemo no end of irritation because I was keeping him up. Although after all the years I put up with his snoring, a little payback never hurts, does it? He used to snore like twelve angry water buffalo before he got the CPAP.
No wonder I'm feeling a bit bleary today. Good thing it's Friday. And there's going to be an impromptu pizza party for lunch, so hurrah for that as well.
