But too sleepy to care

I have a vague idea floating around in my head about a post explaining how I feel about a piece of media that's not great, but which I enjoy because it's part of something bigger that I love. Like, The Bourne Legacy wasn't a great movie, but it wasn't bad, and I love the lead pair and the universe it's in and so I just sort of overlook the bad parts. And I don't think of Quantum of Solace and go, "Yuck, bad movie" because there were good bits and that's all I need and I will take those good bits and make a meal out of them.

I'm too sleepy to write it down anyway and it's probably just a description of how every fan feels, really. And right now you can enjoy the good bits by looking at gifsets on Tumblr, so you don't even need to watch an entire mediocre movie to get the emotional hit of the good parts.

So I'm not going to bother.
