Things Labyrinth-related
May. 30th, 2009 08:19 pmDeviantart has been a great source for Labyrinth fan art. Here's some of the stuff I'm particularly fond of.
This is my current computer wallpaper: an Art Nouveau styled Labyrinth poster.
A role-reversal: Sarah as the Goblin Queen
I love Pika-la-Cynique's drawing style...light, charming, and a little Berkeley Breathed in her layouts and her comic timing. She does a series titled Girls Next Door, featuring Sarah from Labyrinth and Christine from Phantom rooming together in the same apartment building as Phantom Eric and Jareth the Goblin King...along with a few other more quirky residents and visitors. (Dude, she has Jadis from Narnia as Jareth's MOM. How awesome is that?)
Here's the first panel of the comic, where the two new roomies find out that they have a little more in common that they perhaps realized.
And here's a standalone panel that's just too darn cute. Wet'nFluffy Owl snuggling!
And here's one of her standalone sketches of Jareth and Sarah that I find ridiculously sexy.
