Drat, was careless and let my batch of applesauce burn (I thought I had turned off the crockpot but alas...). So I'm starting over and hopefully it'll be done in time to be served with some pork chops tonight.

And then at some point, I'm going to try and make some homemade yogurt to see how it works.
