Poking away

I've made my first stabs at my Yuletide story. It hasn't come together yet - this is like the first few circles the dog makes before he lies down - but I've at least got something on my screen to work with.

My calm tone will get more panicked the longer the storyline eludes me. But it won't happen just yet.
