So, the govt. did indeed take the entire check for Bemo's old school loans, as I had thought might happen but tried to talk myself out of believing. Apparently there's a form I can fill out to request my half back, since it isn't my debt, so I'll try that, because I really frickin' need the money right now. And even if I do get $600, how long will it take before I get it?

I'm so damn gloomy at the moment. I'm trying not to let it get to me too much, but it's hard. Stupid money worries. They never end.
