Going to take the dichroic glass class, which will start May 15th - and we're thinking about Tai Chi for both me and Bemo. Seven sessions for fifty bucks doesn't seem like a bad price at all, and it's been something we've been wanting to do for a while.

Did some spring cleaning today - a thorough vaccuming, trash and recycling runs, and some vigorous cat-brushing, as the little bastards are in full shed. And we went to the park and gawked at some bison and the raptors again, and bemoaned the fact that we have no camera - that's the next toy I'm really desperate to buy. It was such a lovely day today, and I think I could have gotten some beautiful shots.

At work yesterday I tried to take the driving test that you're required to do to drive university vehicles - the museum has a van and I need to be able to tootle around in it. But after dutifully watching the videos, and then taking the 104 question test, I fell short - you have to score a 100 and I scored 96. So I gritted my teeth, and took it again, and scored a 94 - probably because I started second-guessing myself and changed some correct answers. Most annoyingly, there's one question that doesn't provide the correct answer - it's a multiple choice where A, B, and C are all very definitely correct and D is very definitely incorrect, but you have to select just one of them. So I will watch the videos again (blargh) and this time write down everything and see if I can figure out what the heck I'm getting wrong, because I honestly have no idea. There are only so many ways you can affirm that you know you're not allowed to drive over 65 mph, or that a defensive driver "covers the brake" when spotting a potential hazard.
