Since I was heavily involved in a really intense (physically and logistically) project for work that has finally wrapped up, my boss was very kind and got us Spot Awards. When one gets a Spot Award, one marches down to HR with it and presents it in exchange for a $60 gift certificate, and I, of course, chose the one to the bookstore.
It's all gone now. It's been traded in for two Bujold books (Paladin of Souls and the first Sharing Knife book), a Charlaine Harris (the new series about the woman who finds dead bodies - I don't think I'm much interested in the Sookie Stackhouse books anymore, unless somebody specificaly reccomends a particular one to me), and the movie Ratatoulle (which I'm probably not spelling right but I'm too lazy to go check). I had to restrain myself from buying a Moleskine notebook, which I absolutely don't need but covet anyway. (I have a fetish for paper products, and journals/notebooks send me into a frenzy, but I don't NEED any more. I have too many as it is.) Various other books swung into and out of rotation, but I'm happy with the haul.
Glee!
