Impulsively stayed home today, since I was feeling poopy and definitely have the leave time to burn off. It was an odd day to stay home, actually, since the apartment building sent around their pesticide people and consequently the kitchen is still reeky from the spray. I've decided that I can't face using the kitchen tonight at all, so I've sent out for pizza. Tonight: Amazing Race (no House, so I can watch what I am hoping will be the elimination of the Weavers without guilt), and the movie National Treasure (because of the delectable Sean Bean, and because, as I proudly tell everybody as often as possible, they filmed a snippet of it at the building I work at, and since they had to put lights in our period rooms, I got to stay overnight and mind the crew. No stars were present, however, and it's a good thing as I would have ended up trying to shackle myself to Sean Bean's leg and there would have been a Diplomatic Incident). The cats were locked up all day because of the spraying, but they're out now and behaving very coolly towards me because of their incarceration in the bedroom. Entitled little vermin.

Off to go poke my thesis advisor about why he hasn't revised the draft I sent him yet. *fetches stick and strides off with grim expression*

Well, that was mediocre. A decent enough way to kill a couple of hours without much useage of brainpower, a few pretty views of DC and Philly, and some absolutely delicious Sean Bean time. I swear to god, the man has sexual chemistry with everything living, plus a wide range of inanimate objects. He had more chemistry when he asked, "Who do we have here?" to Diane Kruger, and then tried to shoot her than Nick Cage did with her through the entire rest of the film.

Uh, not that I'm partial or anything.
