Q is for, uh...PostQponed again

Sorry, peeps, but I'm taking a half-day today (on account of the Thing which needs to be done which I mentioned earlier), so I'll put Q up tomorrow. Just think, a whole day of anticipation!

Things which are good. Plus Legos.

So, the thing for which I took a half-day today went swimmingly. Smiles all round. There won't be any fruit from this tree until at least the end of November, so we'll see what the dealio is around Thanksgiving.

I want to go buy a bucket of celebratory Legos, but Bemo is feeling poopy and is now napping, and I have nobody else to go with. So I will go shower and then finish reading Middlesex, which is a very very good book which I have been tearing through.

Newbie Firefly person

Forgot to mention that I am watching the first disc of Firefly. So far, I'm vastly entertained, but not showing any signs of impending fan-dom, aside from a brief muttering of, "Oh, so *that's* where that icon pic came from." I'm still adjusting to the Ye Olde Westy speech, so I flinch a little bit every time somebody says "ain't." It sounds wrong, and it sounds like the actors know it sounds wrong, but they're going to give the dialogue their best shot anyway.

Banana Cream Pie from Wegmans is potentially the Best Thing Ever. No, wait - it might be their Chocolate Cream Pie. I will have to conduct further studies.
