Sith novelization
Jun. 3rd, 2005 02:47 pmThe movie novelization, much like the one for Constantine is surprisingly good. It not only makes a lot of things clear that the movie leaves muddy, but it also adds a lot of depth and, in a surprising move for a movie novelization, was not written by a monkey throwing fruit at the keyboard.
But at this point (page 98), it's not making me feel all that much better about how Padme is characterized. There's a little bit too strong a slant of, "She loves him because he's manly and moody, and because he's the ultimate bad boy that she's tamed." I...have issues with that.
