Surrealism makes me happy

Some days - not many of them, but occasionally - I miss grading papers. Why? Because of little gems like this one, sent to me by my former schoolmate Pinto Bean, who is working on her doctorate. Her students are working on Dali, and she just sent me this priceless sentence from one of their papers. How often is it that a sentence like this would be written?

"The quite offensive picture of Lenin's elongated butt cheek with meat hanging from it has much more impact on the viewer than the "Enigma of Desire".

Why yes. Yes, I suppose it would.
