I am proud of myself
Jan. 16th, 2005 11:14 amBecause I finally got the Christmas tree over to the dump and the pine needles mostly vacuumed up.
The cats are still in shock that their hiding place has diappeared out the door - for a few days afterwards, they moped around and sat in the pile of pine needles that marked where the tree stood, hoping that it would reappear. When I left the vacuum out, they tried to hide behind it, but it clearly Wasn't The Same Thing.
Plus, I sat down and paid all my bills, which always spawns a feeling of accomplishment.
Will probably spend tomorrow visiting my sister at her college, which is only about an hour's drive away. We're only supposed to get a little dusting of snow, so I'm not concerned too much about it.
