I wanted to show off my new necklace. So, here it is.



I would have bought it just for the awesome chain, but the fact that it has a sparkly Frida Kahlo locket sealed the deal.

And, I think I've mentioned that I've been making cards recently. I've always had a bit of a paper fetish, and random collage on boxes and in paper journals and on canvas is how I make myself happy. Somebody invited me to a scrapbooking party, and I wasn't really interested in scrapbooking, but people also make cards, and there were stamps involved, so I went, and now I'm going a little nuts with it. These are my first few, and I'm still learning about what looks good and how the stamps work and all, but I thought I'd share. If I get really ambitious, and if I think I can do them nicely enough, I'm going to do homemade Christmas cards.

You definitely have an eye for making clever cards. I like the blue owl one and the pink 'thanks' one. Oh, and all the rest.

Yay, somebody likes my owl! (*glares in the direction of her sister*) Hee! I fell in love with that stamp so I'm going to have to be careful not to use it on everything.
