Halloween approches

It's almost October, and my personal style guru, an artist and manager of our museum's store, has turned the store's decoration over to Halloween. I took pictures so you can be as tickled by it as I am.

The little nut cups hanging on the tree...she got them in last year and I bought three of them. I never decorate for the holidays, I rarely have people over, I never use nut cups for anything...but I now have three sitting on my shelf and they make me happy happy happy. I'm so tempted by the larger black cat one. And I am TOTALLY buying some of those paper masks because they're hilarious and sorta really creepy.

Actually, if you'd like to pick up a couple of these through me, I could arrange it. Let me know if you're interested in anything in particular.

I may need one of those crocheted jellyfish things.

I fell in love so hard with those that I gave one to a friend as part of her wedding present. They're just so...tentacley.

That tentacled little guy is sitting next to me right now. He lives on my desk!

Woo!

Every woman, upon entering married life, requires a purple crocheted jellyfish.

My nut cup is on top of my microwave, and I see him every day.

Can your museum store person come over here and give ours some much-needed coolness?

We should send Vonni out like a missionary, spreading the art of good shop layout and sardonic charm.
