Yuletide panic (is my story really posted? Am I just stupid?)

I'm not sure if I'm panicking needlessly, which is why I'm asking my flist first: I uploaded my story before the deadline. I could see it there, blinking happily at me. I decided, while I was fussing around with it, to upload some of my other fic to the archive. Now, I can't see my Yuletide story there at all. The archive tells me I have X number of stories, but I can only see X-1, which makes me think that my story is still there, just sort of floating around anonymously. But I thought we were supposed to be able to make edits (I realized I forgot to tag the story as Yuletide, which is why I was trying to find it) and...if I can't actually find it, I can't make the edit.

I tried to go to Yuletide fandoms and clicking on the link for my particular fandom, but that doesn't seem to turn the story up either. Have I accidentally deleted my story somehow? Or am I just profoundly confused?

This was mentioned on one of the instruction pages in yuletide_admin. Your Yuletide story shows up on your Recent works page, but if you then upload more works, eventually it will drop off the end. It sounds like you have uploaded one more work than the RW page has room for.

I don't know what the solution is, though - can you find it via My works in the My dashboard box to the left of the recent works page?

Woot! You are precisely correct, and I totally missed that instruction page. I was able to find it on the edit multiple stories page.

I don't think you'd be able to find it by going to the fandom, since everything for yuletide is hidden now. When U click on Works (where I have one listed next to Works in the nav bar), it says I have 0 stories. But when I click "edit multiple stories," my story shows up.

Of course, I can't get into that file to edit it, so what do I know?

Aha! This worked perfectly for me, and I was able to get in and edit. Uh, but you can't. I'm chalking it all up to Yuletide Magic and Mystery.
