HOLY FRICKIN CRAP NEBRASKA

It's not cool to have it cost over three hundred bucks to get your car registered. NOT. COOL.

We moved here because it was CHEAPER. I AM NOT HAPPY. I AM ALSO FRICKIN BROKE NOW.

*pats hand* I know, I know. We have something here called "excise tax" (or what my husband less than politely refers to as "extortion tax") and it's absurd. Just bought a new truck on Saturday--between paying the sales tax out of pocket (because we bought it in NH, where there is no sales tax, we have to do that) and the extortion tax, it was almost $1100 to get it registered.

And it's not like I see anyone out here fixing all the potholes in my road with that money...
