dithering about an iPod Touch

I wanted to buy one for myself for my upcoming birthday, but am dithering. Any opinions, people?

I like mine, because it's handy to browse mail when I'm on the move and within range of a wifi connection. I occasionally play the games, and I over-use the apps, especially the language ones.
Also, Fruit Ninja is awesome--very relaxing ;)

Ooh, language apps. And now I can be a trendy hipster and take new-retro photos with the thing. Woot!
